Frozen Yogurt

Moocow is a chain of frozen yogurt shops with an outlet in Lintas Plaza. If you love frozen yogurt then you simply have to try their version of it. You can choose from plain and two seasonal flavors, and then you get to the fun part! There’s a whole counter of toppings to explore for an additional RM1 or 2 each.  For pricing you’ll pay RM12 inc tax for plain, RM14 for a special flavor, RM1-2 for toppings.

Shops & Malls

There are so many malls to explore in this area that it may be overwhelming without a few tips of where to go. If you’re looking for electronic goods, go to Kompleks Karamunsing in the south east of town just a little ways away from the centre. Wawasan plaza at the south end of the waterfront has a number of lower market shops including budget clothing. Going north, Api-api centre doesn’t have many shops, but it does have a great deal of good roti places and an excellent South Indian restaurant. Next along the road you’ll find Centrepoint and Warisan square. The first is mid-market with a wide variety of shops, including a variety of hairdressers, mobile phone shops, sports shops, and cinemas. Kompleks Sinsuran has a few Islamic tailors and school uniform shops, as well as street vendors with clothes and watches, and occasionally a night market selling second hand clothes. There’s a building site next, then KK plaza, which is lower-end and has a large number of beauty stores and tailors. Finally at the north end of town there is Suria Sabah, which is a higher end mall and cinema, and on the waterfront itself sits a newer mall called Oceanus that seems to be targeting Western clothing retailers.
