Montego Bay Nightlife
Nightlife in Montego Bay has something for everyone. Whether you want to get wet and wild, chill with smooth jazz and a martini or try your luck at the tables, you’ll find many ways to satisfy your late night cravings.
Wacky Wednesday
Stay out late on Wednesday night and dance the night away at the Jamaican block party called Wacky Wednesday. Located between the Hip Strip and town the party rages from 1 am to 5 am – just ask any local where it is. A lot of locals hit this place and a few fortunate tourists do too. There’s beverage service and a mean reggae beat to make it all come together for a wild , vibing night.
Margaritaville
Located at water’s edge, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville has it all. The club has a water playground like you would not believe. It has a 3-story water slide, water trampolines and water volleyball courts. The drinks can be rather expensive so bring lots of money and your swim suit.
Blue Beat Ultra Lounge
Looking for something more low-key? Try this blue-lit, upscale jazz and martini bar next door to Margaritaville. Themed music nights, live comedy nights and an unplugged music series featuring local and international musicians cater to your more elegant side. Lounge on couches and chairs under the stars on the open-air deck steps from the ocean.
Pier One
Pier One hosts live music at the edge of River’s Bay, featuring well known Jamaican Reggae stars. The concerts are full of energy and very loud. Happy Hour runs from 5 to 7 pm daily and Seafood Sundays showcase fresh conch, shrimp, scallops, lobster and fish. Great stuff!
Coral Cliff Casino
This casino is located at the heart of the tourist district on Gloucester Avenue. It has a unique waterfall on the façade, and while inside it’s a casino like most others, it can be a good way to spend a few hours after the sun has set.
Sunspree at Holiday Inn
If you brought the kids, checkout the stage at Holiday Inn Sunspree for nightly entertainment and family-friendly fun. Live music and performances vary, and they may feature a steel drum band, talented dancers moving to the beat of Bongo drums or costumed singers and dancers. Sometimes guests are even invited to dance onstage!
