According to flight deal booking site Fareness, the average round-trip airfare to go to Mexico over spring break this year is $396, and I’ve listed the five cheapest average prices from the U.S. with March to May travel dates. From typical spring break beach destinations to a cultural capital, here are the most affordable Mexico spring break options this year.
Mexico City
According to Kayak.com the cheapest month to go is May. Discover the city’s historical epicenter and museums, or take a day trip to the famous Xochimilco floating river boats you’ve seen on Instagram.
Average Round-Trip Fare: $351
Where to Stay: Fiesta Inn Centro Historico is the perfect location for first-timers to Mexico City. This city-center location has rates starting at $73 per night for a spring break in Mexico.
Guadalajara
The cheapest month to go is in March, according to Kayak.com. Come for the nearby agave fields in Tequila, stay for the mariachi music.
