Nightclubs and Bars in Passay City – Clubs & Bars

Pasay City Nightlife

Most major cities in the Philippines offer wide ranges in nightlife fun. Pasay City is no different. Here, no matter what your style in activity is, chances are you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.

The Calesa Bar in the Hyatt

The Calesa Bar in the Hyatt is a classy bar with a live pianist performing for patrons. With the bartenders decked out in white tuxedos the bar really takes on the appearance of a 1920s bar. The bar specializes in everything from cocktails to beer. There is somewhat of a dress code here. Nothing is officially listed and you likely won’t be turned away, but nearly all patrons are in suits or elegant casual clothing.

The Pier

The Pier is an excellent location to go when you thirst for an excellent beer. You’ll be able to find not only major import brands, but you can actually find a few different American microbrew labels as well (Rogue Brewery out of Oregon has several bottles here). The mixed drinks are strong, yet inexpensive. You can also grab some food here while sipping on your favorite drink. Everything from pizza to sandwiches and snacks can be found on the menu. There is never a cover charge despite the bar hosting live bands nearly every night.

Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive offers a range of activities to take in after dark. The SM Entertainment Mall is here, should you feel like shopping or have the need to see a movie. You can also stop by one of the many cafes and small bars on the strip. This is an excellent location to start the night off as you can watch a beautiful sunset.

Club Republiq

If you’re in the mood to check out a dance club, Club Republiq is the spot for you. You’ll find a host of lounges within the club, should you and friends want to enjoy a bit more privacy (although the lounges still have openings that look over the dance floor. There is a 500 pesos per person entrance fee, although this also buys you your first two drinks.
