Busan Nightlife
There are few better places in all the world to enjoy a night out than Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea. Located on the very southeastern tip of the peninsula, this huge port city is a global city, and you’ll meet plenty of locals and internationals alike.

Lzone
A landing pad that blends new people with inexpensive drinks, Lzone caters to the international crowd by offering a place where everyone can come and speak whatever language they please. Between tourists learning Korean slang, college students taking the chance to practice their languages, and yuppies blowing off steam is a cover fee of 10,000 won (about $10) that lets you drink until midnight. Better still, it’s half-price for foreigners. Visitors can party on the dance floor, chill on lounge chairs, or take a seat at the bar and try soju, the unique Korean alcohol made from rice. Come midnight, the party usually moves next door to the Blue Monkey dance club, where entrance is free but drinks aren’t cheap. Find the Lzone in the Kyung-Sung district of town on the seaside.
Texas Street
Those who want a bit of a higher-stakes evening can take a stroll onto Texas Street, the region of Busan famous for catering to sailors. Interestingly, many bars here are owned by foreigners, especially Russians, rather than Koreans. Many run twenty-four hours of the day, so real night owls can find interesting company at any hour.
Chill Bar
The name says it all for this corner-store bar, where the owner and his wife run a small operation with cocktails famous throughout the city. It’s not a nightclub with a lot of faces, but for a smaller evening out with friends, it’s hard to do better than you would taking this bar at its name.
Rock N Roll Bar
Located right on Haeundae Beach, Rock N Roll Bar has everything that a night out needs. Pool and ping-pong tables let you challenge all comers, while a lengthy beer list lets you try the best brews of South Korea and plenty more. The staff are famous for their friendliness and there’s a number of dance clubs on the beach in case you decide to seek out some new ground.
Soemyeon
An area famous for clubs, bars, and shopping, Soemyeon has a lot of quality in a small location as it’s by far the most crowded region in the city. Visitors who want to cruise the clubs in Soemyeon will pay top dollar but see the very best of the city’s nightlife. Clubs like Hollywood are almost always packed until the very break of dawn itself.
