South Korea What To Pack
South Korea is a formal country and most people will have suits or good business casual clothes. It’s rare to see people wearing jeans and tennis shoes.
Luggage
No matter what you have planned for your South Korean adventure, these luggage options are ideal for a short or long-term stay.
Weather
Summer Days are hot and humid, so expect warm temperatures from May through September. Winter goes from December to March and can be quite cold. The best time to visit Seoul is April/May or September/October.
Bags
Korea has stairs, lots of them. Therefore, it’s best to leave the gigantic wheeled bag at home if you’re going to be moving around the city by subway or walking many places with your stuff.
Rainy Season
Summer is the rainy season. Bring shoes that can get wet or at least dry out quickly if you are planning on traveling in June and July. No need to bring an umbrella though, you can buy one here for as little as 3,000 won.
Clothing
Clothing sizes in South Korea aren’t the same as the US or UK, so if you wear a size larger than medium in the US, you probably won’t be doing much clothes shopping in Korea. It’s a good idea to figure out your shoe size and clothes size before you go shopping here, as there are not always changing rooms available.
Ladies, if you wear a larger shoe than size 8, you can’t buy shoes here so bring what you’ll need.
Clothes to Pack
Toiletries
Tylenol and Advil here aren’t as strong so bring those. Deodorant and tampons are hard to find so bring your own. Also, you never know which moisturizers have whitening in them so bring your own.

Shoes
In most Asian countries, you won’t get a good feel for the local culture and people unless you spend a lot of time walking. Seoul is no exception, so bring a good pair of walking shoes.
