High Winds

Unexpectedly high winds can blow across the land and can make you feel like they can blow you over the side of the cliffs if you aren’t ready for them. You should always stay away from the edge in case some high winds come along and make you lose your balance.

The path is there to protect you and the environment. Strolling off of the path and getting near the edge of the cliffs can be very dangerous. You might think that you are walking on grass, but when the cliffs erode, they erode from the bottom up. The patch of grass that you think is safe to stand on might not be supported by land underneath it. Standing in a wrong spot can cause the patch of grass to give away and you can end up plummeting 390 feet down to the water.
