Taking the Bus

If you plan on taking the bus while in Frigiliana, make sure you keep a few things in mind. First, you can always distinguish the bus from Nerja to Frigiliana by the color. It is the only bus that is green, and many locals refer to it as “the green bus”. In Frigiliana, the bus stop is located at “Plaza del Ingenio” while in Nerja it is ” Av. de Pescia”. Knowing where the bus stops are and what they are called is important to catching the right bus on time. There are no bus services on Sundays!

By Car

If you are traveling the area by car, it is important to pay close attention to the road signs and your GPS or map to ensure you get to Frigiliana with no issues. Many people recommend parking before you get to Old Town so you can find a place to park and because traffic is only open to residents, so if you are touring the area make sure to park in the designated areas before you enter Frigiliana. If you are going to Frigiliana from Malaga, be sure to look for the exit for Nerja in order to get there. While traffic and parking can seem confusing, once you do it once it is relatively simple to navigate.
