Closest Airport

If you plan on flying to the city, the closest airport is in Malaga. This airport services many different airlines and can be accessed from many cities in Europe. If you are flying there from North America, you can get there with just one connecting flight.

Easy Access to Gibraltar

The Rock of Gibraltar is a popular attraction in the area. It is easily accessible from Torremolinos via about a four house bus trip. It is very affordable and makes about four stops in different towns along the way. Once you are at Gibraltar, you spend around four hours checking out the sights and doing some shopping. There is another bus option in which the price is a little more but the trip only takes about three hours.

Take a Cab from the Airport

You can get to Torremolinos from the Malaga airport via taxi. There are plenty of them available at ground transportation and the trip takes about 15 minutes each way depending on the traffic. When it is time to head to the airport you can get a cab by having the front desk call one for you. The cabs are of high quality and provide a very comfortable ride. Certain hotels in the area do offer a free shuttle to and from the airport.
