There are quite a few options for nighttime fun in Llandudno. Here are some of the most popular spots.

Broadway Boulevard

If you are over 18 and looking for a place to dance, drink, shout above the noise and spend a lively evening, then try out this hot night spot. The interior decor is contemporary and inviting. Its subdued lighting masks the sticky carpets and seating.

There are three floors to explore. The entrance is on the ground floor. The second floor overlooks St. Georges Street, and it has two bars and a dance floor. The third floor contains a cocktail bar with an atmosphere where you don’t have to shout so loud.

The dress code prohibits sportswear, jeans and hoodies.

The Palladium

The JD Weatherspoon pub chain has taken over this rather magnificent theater and turned it into one of the largest pubs in Wales. Over the years it has gradually become somewhat rundown, and its main attractions now are Cinema showings and Bingo.

Much of the club has been restored, although the balconies of the theater still can’t be used as seating areas. The ‘stage’ area kind of looks like a rather cheap stage set for an Agatha-Christie country house murder mystery.

The beer is cheap, and the place seems to have a certain buzz. Children are welcome during the day.

The Palladium is worth walking through to admire the Victorian theater architecture, even if you are not looking for a drink.

Cineworld

Cineworld is a multiplex of cinemas located out of town in Llandudno Junction. Get a taxi, bus or train if you have no car.
