The Best Transportation Options in Kalibo

Motortrike Taxis–These tiny taxi/tricycle crossbreeds are the most popular form of transportation in Kalibo, both with the locals and with travelers. You can rent one virtually anywhere in the city, the prices are on the cheap side, and they can take you anywhere in Kalibo you want to go. In fact, they are small enough that they can get you to some interesting tourist areas cars cannot. If you go to Kalibo, you will almost certainly take at least one ride on one of these.

Bus Rentals–These are excellent choices if you are traveling in Kalibo with a medium to large group of people. There are quite a few respectable bus rental companies in town. If you call and make arrangements to have one before your trip, you will be provided with a bus and a driver who will take you anywhere in the city you want to go. It’s terrific because it is private travel, with just you and your companions on the bus. Since they’re private, these busses only ride for you, and don’t pick up any other passengers.

Zest Air–Zest Air is your connection to the rest of the Philippines, and other select places in Asia. It is a Philippines-based airline, and its main hub is in Kalibo. You can travel to virtually any other Philippine airport with this airline, as well as China and Korea. The fares are extremely competitive, too.
