Christmas 2011 in Nassau

Just back from four days in Nassau. We stayed at the Wyndham and despite the not so great reviews, we had a great stay! We were in “H” Tower, a corner suite oceanfront. We had a living room, king bedroom and bath. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and it was lovely. The staffwas very friendly and everyone spoke and smiled. There are porters to help with your luggage, taxis are available 24 hours and the #10 bus/jitney stops right in front of the hotel. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather-78-82 all four days with bright sun. The pool and beach were very nice and if that isn’t enough, you also have full use of the Sheraton next door. There is a small casino and it paid well on the slots. One couple won over $5000 on the craps table…

The restaurant-buffet- served a really nice Christmas dinner meal. There is a Starbucks and it was wonderful1 Prices equal those in the states.
