Having a Cigar in Los Cabos

Me and my family (2 kids) we stayed at Villas del Palmar, in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The vacation was great overall. There was only one bad thing to tell: we had to wait till 4pm for our room and I was muggy and smelt like mister clean. The only other thing was other vacationers who are afraid of talking to people when they are upset. I being a smoker enjoy having many cigars on my vacations, I will ask anyone around me if it bothers them and can have a reasonable agreement. On our last day I joined another cigar smoker in the pool away from others, when he was finished I was strangely asked by a staff person to not smoke there and one guy half way down the pool started to complain, normal conversation was out the window but I left to finish my enjoyment.

The good part: there was an excellent service. We usually ate in the sports bar, almost everyday, and was greeted with excellent service. By the pool Miguel and Liz were amazing. If I go back, I will make sure to sit where they are located. The room improved after the fumes went away and it was nice and cool. My cigar experience was overall positive, was allowed to smoke outside without problems except my one bad apple.

We moved around the city in a SUV from caborentadent.com with excellent service and great price. No rpoblems with smoking in the SUV.

Cabo warning about cigars, J&J’s is probably the only respectable shop but the cost of any cigar is close to double above retail cost, my advice always bring your own cigars from home. You know they are what you like and won’t cost as much.
