Niagara Falls, Canada

About

The Canadian side of Niagara Falls offers majestic views of the famous waterworks, and provides guests with plenty of entertainment both near the Falls and in the city. The well-known Maid of the Mist tours take visitors to the base of the American Falls and into the basin of the Canadian Falls, while the Journey Behind the Falls provides a view of Horseshoe Falls from 150 feet below the drop-off. Other Niagara Falls activities, such as casinos, fine dining, and spas, make this area perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. The Butterfly Conservatory, which features more than 2,000 butterflies, the Laura Secord Homestead honoring the Canadian heroine, and Old Fort Erie provide entertainment away from the thundering waters. Niagara Falls, Ontario, is located about 20 minutes away from Buffalo Niagara International Airport, and about an hour away from Toronto Pearson International Airport. The new terminal at the Niagara Falls International Airport also offers limited service.
