If you book the car through Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant, you’ll get 20 percent back (available later this month), or get 10 percent back if you book without using Alexa (available now). The gift card will be emailed to you within 48 hours of completing your rental. To reserve a car through Alexa, you’ll need to enable the Avis for Alexa skill on your Alexa device, and then simply say: “I need a car at Boston Airport at 9:00 a.m. this Friday.”
