Vacation rental site Holidu analyzed data from World Weather Online to determine the average number of sun hours per month for each city in Europe.

Alicante, Spain

A waterfront location mixed with a historic old quarter and picturesque castle make Alicante a classic Spanish vacation destination. With an average of 349 hours of sunshine a month, this provincial capital is the sunniest city in Europe.
