Between August 19 and November 30, United MileagePlus members can book coach-class award flights between the U.S. or Canada and Brazil or Chile for 25 percent fewer miles.
The normal award price is 60,000 miles, which falls to 45,000 miles with the discount.
The sale only applies to roundtrip bookings; one-ways are still priced at the normal levels.
