[[Southwest Airlines | Southwest]] and [[Best Western]] would seem to be eminently compatible partners, catering as they both do to the value-oriented segment of the travel market. So it’s surprising that it wasn’t until February 15, 2009, that members of Best Western’s Rewards program could earn Southwest Rapid Rewards credits when staying at Best Western hotels.
Better late than never.
With the new relationship, Rapid Rewards members can earn a half credit for qualifying Best Western stays. To earn Southwest credits, travelers must be members of Best Western Rewards, with their earning preferences set to “airline miles” and Southwest selected as the chosen airline.
Between February 15 and April 5, Rapid Rewards members can earn one credit per stay instead of the standard half credit when they register for the [% 2829608 | | special promotion %] and stay two or more nights.
