We want to hear your travel horror stories, and we’ll publish the most nail-biting, hair-graying, hope-dashing, and wallet-emptying of the bunch in September.

Have you taken the flight from hell, complete with cancellations, re-routings, and hours spent on the tarmac? Perhaps you arrived at your destination, only to find your hotel or tour reservation had disappeared into thin air. Worse yet, have you ever taken a much-dreamed-about trip only to find the stark reality looked nothing like the glossy brochure?

If these scenarios sound eerily familiar, then this is your chance to vent. Send us your horror stories of 250 words or less by September 13. On September 27, we’ll publish the most terrifying travel tales, so other vacationers can learn from your mishaps. And to all you budding Stephen Kings out there, we’re looking for fact, not fiction.
