One-year countdown to the arrival of Queen Victoria begins

One year from today, on December 11, 2007, Cunard will debut its newest ship, the Queen Victoria. If you want to sail on this luxury ocean liner, book soon—her first and second voyages are already sold out.

Cunard’s new queen will embark on a world cruise on January 6, 2008. The total voyage will last 106 days. On January 13, the ship will pull into New York to visit with her sisters, the Queen Elizabeth 2 and the Queen Mary 2. It’ll be the first time the three queens will be together in the same port.

Cunard has not yet announced details of Queen Victoria’s post-world-cruise itineraries. Stay tuned for more details of the ship and its voyages. Announcements will be made throughout the coming year.
