I’ve always wondered what the truth really is about Carnival. Years ago, I associated the cruise line with Kathie Lee Gifford and wet T-shirt contests. Now, I connect Carnival with family fun and great deals. But then I ask, are “Fun Ship” cruises fun for couples, seniors, or solo travelers? Do low prices mean great deals or shoddy service?
I’m about to find out, and so are you. I leave on Monday for a five-night Bahamas cruise aboard the Fantasy. The itinerary includes the Bahamas and Grand Turk, as well as Carnival’s private island, Half Moon Cay. I intend to skip Carnival’s shore excursions and explore the islands on my own, and blog regularly about my adventures.
If you have any questions about Carnival, the Fantasy, or any of these islands, now is the time to ask. Send me an email at [email protected], and I’ll try to respond in my blog.
And don’t forget to check in regularly beginning Tuesday, October 10, for daily updates from the high seas.
