Aqaba is the seaside town that connect Jordan to the Red Sea. The city has been developed greatly in recent years to help attract more tourists. Besides the beach, there are a lot of attractions to keep any historical sightseer busy while they are there, including Aqaba Fort and the Aqaba Museum. The D Lounge 

Even if you aren’t staying at the Hilton you can enjoy this popular nightlife spot. The D Lounge is located in the Hilton. There is a great live band playing most nights of the week and Wednesdays in Ladies Night in which all the women in the bar get their drinks for half off. If you like to sing in public, Tuesdays is karaoke night at the D Lounge. There is something for everyone there.

The Gateway

Aqaba isn’t the most active city in the world at night, but one popular are in town to go at night is Gateway. This area is the home to many restaurants and bars. There are also some outlets shops that are open there during the day. Two of the most popular bars there are upstairs that will appeal to westerners. Rovers is an English-style pub with classic pub food and a selection of beers on tap. There is another bar, MacDonald’s next door and there is even an internet café downstairs if you need to shoot off a quick e-mail. These bars are great place to go if you want a casual night out.
