Between avocado toast (thanks, millennials) and avocado ice cream (thanks, Tom Brady), you’d think that we’ve reached peak avocado—but you’d be wrong. This June, an entire 6,700-square-foot avocado museum will open in San Diego.

Sponsored by the California Avocado Commission, The Cado is a pop-up comprising 16 mobile shipping containers that will be based in the Liberty Station waterfront district from June to August 2018.
Tickets are $27, and will get you a retro cassette tape player guided tour, admission to the “ripe room” (with textured walls meant to feel like a perfectly ripe avocado), tastings of “fresh California-inspired avocado-centric bites,” and plenty of photo opportunities.
