Nightlife in Bahrain: Night Clubs
The Kingdom of Bahrain is a small island just north of Saudi Arabia in the Persian Gulf. People come from all over the world to enjoy this luxurious island that is now connected to Saudi Arabia by a 23-mile bridge connecting it to the mainland.
No Drinking Age Enforced
Many parents are horrified to learn that there is no enforced drinking age restriction for clubs and bars. Women get in free while men have to pay, no IDs are checked at the door.
Dinner
Trader Vic’s is based on an American chain restaurant and bar. It is located in the Ritz-Carlton right on the water. The live music is great and the seafood menu is to die for. Other recommendations for a normal night out with dinner and light dancing include BJ’s, Diggers, and Warblers. These places have a casual dress code, but you may feel out of place in shorts and a tee shirt.
Clubs
If you’d like to have a more diverse cultural experience try one of the many nightclubs: Indian, Arbiac and Russian! This island has it all. The Elite hotel is one of these classier venues. Make sure to dress up if you want to fit in. No shorts. Expect tons of foreigners. Area 51 is a hip new club, but rumor has it a lot of underage kids go there. Barnaby Joe’s in Adliya has a crowd usually in their late teens to early thirties.
