Baseball Bash Without a Hitch (Florida)

So we headed out late friday afternoon, myself, my 3 year old son, my twelve year old son and my husband.this time we head south to plant city, fl for a weekend of travel ball and some “family” fun. Hmmmmmmmm. I love watching my boys enjoy the outdoors but especially engaging in activities that have come to fill most hours that are not spent asleep or in school. It is the way I grew up and something my husband has a great passion for as well. This weekend is all about my twelve year old son who is amazing to watch with a bat in his hand or cleanly fielding a hard hit ground ball. He has become quite the ball player!

This weekend was very special because it carried a load not only Involving baseball but another team effort that needed to go just the right way and man did it go a way I never expected……. You see the world is full of very interesting people who think that their lifestyle is the one that makes most sense no matter how that may affect anyone else involved- and I am involved for sure. That’s what teams are all about right- being involved with the members of your team in the manner that everyone is playing their part, and looking out for their teammates?! Wow! I have always said that if you expect the unexpected than you’ll never be surprised but that is the stupidest saying ever! It just is- I mean who would ever want to expect what they find that changes EVERYTHING in their life and not in a good way. I guess it is this sort of travel adventure that has made the most memories for me. And to think such an amazing trip would come in the form of traveling for a travel ball tnmt to plant city, fl and while staying at a Hilton garden inn in Lakeland, fl. I bet the memories, good and bad, that this hotel encompasses are enough to last many lifetimes…….. This weekend changed my family and all the lives involved in that family forever.
