Never heard of “Gangnam Style”? It’s a music video by a South Korean pop star, Psy, and it recently became the most watched thing on YouTube, with over 800 million views. (Watch it here, but click only if you’re prepared to have the song stuck in your head for days.)
The song pokes fun at the wealthy inhabitants of the Gangnam District of Seoul, and now the Seoul Tourism Organization wants to cash in on all the attention. The organization has created its own video, called “What is Gangnam Style”, to showcase the attractions in district, hoping that it will lure PSY-loving tourists to the area.
To sweeten the deal, they are also giving away a trip to two to Seoul. Visit the Seoul Tourism Organization’s Facebook page to watch the video and get details on how to enter. The grand prize is two round-trip tickets to Seoul, but there’s also 30 $50 iTunes gift cards up for grabs!
