Bora-Bora isn’t famous for nightlife, but there are a few ways to enjoy the evening, island style.

Sunset Bar

The Sunset Bar at the Four Seasons is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails or a meal and enjoy the sunset. The bar is situated over the lagoon with a view of Mount Otemanu. They serve a variety of mixed drinks, wine, beer, champagne and tropical drinks as well as food. It’s a great place to unwind and just watch the night begin after sunset.

Aparima Bar

The Aparima Bar at the St. Regis Resort is a good place to grab a drink, have some food and just relax. The bar is quite large and has plenty of seating with views of the beach and a pool bar. The menu is detailed in a huge blue book as big as a dictionary. The menu has a large drink list comprised of frozen specialty drinks, champagne, wine and beer selections, and non-alcoholic drinks. The menu ranges from appetizers to more substantial entrees.

They offer complimentary small plates of chips or olives along with your cocktails. The cocktails are tasty and come with a beautiful ocean view. Prices can be expensive – many drinks are $28 USD and up, but why not splurge when on vacation?

Sunset Cruise

When you stay around Point Matira you can only see the sunrise. If you want to see the sunset, take a sunset cruise. The catamaran will pick you up at the pier of your hotel around 4:30 pm and will bring you to the other side of the island where you can admire an amazing sunset. Enjoy the sun set around 5:30 pm while sipping a complimentary cocktail – with or without alcohol. The cruise lasts for 2 hours.
