Hurricane season ends on November 30, but in the meantime, the storms just keep on coming. Tropical Storm Noel, which, according to this USA Today article, has already killed at least 20 people in the Dominican Republic, is over Cuba right now and predicted to hit the Bahamas by tomorrow. According to Weather.com, the Bahamas are bracing for five to 10 inches of rain over the next day or two.
Meanwhile, parts of the Southeastern U.S. are experiencing gusty winds and high surf advisories. If your travel plans include affected states, the Bahamas, or the Dominican Republic, check with your airline, your hotel, and if you’ve got it, your travel insurance provider to assess your options.
