Atlanta travel is great year round. That said, spring is everyone’s favorite time to visit Atlanta. March through May see mild weather and a repertoire of events that include festivals and expositions like the Atlanta Jazz Festival and the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival.

Atlanta summers are hot and humid, with temperatures routinely reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit. July is the hottest month, bringing in masses of tourists and the stupor of Southern summers. Winter tends to be cool and windy. Spring and fall offer a respite from these extremes.
