The crown jewel of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff has long been known for its wide array of outdoor activities. In addition to the ample outdoor opportunities in and around Flagstaff there are a multitude of nightlife options in the area.

The Bar Scene

Like most cities of a similar size, Flagstaff has a burgeoning bar scene. The Beaver Street Brewery is one the best places to get beer in the Flagstaff area and features delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. If a cocktail lounge is more appealing than a brewery, the Monta Vista Cocktail Lounge is the place to be in Flagstaff. The crowd is typically 25 and over, and live music is often played within the Monta Vista’s confines. The Flagstaff Brewing Company and the Mogollan Brewing Company are two other bars of choice in the Flagstaff area. The Flagstaff Brewing Company has an outstanding outdoor patio, often features live music, and is known for being laid back. The Mogollan Brewing Company is known for its hippie crowd and its Apache Trout Stout.

The Orpheum Theater is the place to be for live entertainment when in Flagstaff. A variety of different types of live entertainment including concerts and plays are performed within this venue. The Zane Gray Ballroom is an additional venue in Flagstaff is known for live music. The Zane Gray features a beautiful wood bar and large outdoor patio. Finally, Black Bart’s features live Broadway style entertainment, and some of the finests steaks and salad in all of Flagstaff.
