Explore the Walls

At one point, the defensive town walls were torn down to allow the city to expand. They have been reconstructed again in order to be historically accurate. The Onyar River

Two other squares to explore in Girona at night are Ballesteries and Rambla de la Libertat. Both are popular favorites for those who are looking for a real glimpse at local life.
