Inn at Harbor Hill Marina – Niantic, CT

Arrive as strangers – leave as friends/family – Truly a great Relaxing Time October 30, 2007

Not far from home but this bed and breakfast makes you feel miles away. This was our third time staying at Harbor Hill Marina and as always it was a great relaxing couple of day which went by way to fast. We could have used a couple of more days. This inn has a wonderful staff of employees, each one adds to the friendly, family feeling you get from the time you walk in the door until you leave. You will leaving the inn feeling very spoiled by all the special touches along with your super hospitality, along with the great views from your room and the grounds of the Marina. After staying here you just may never even want to think about going to any other B&B. The staff always has little tips and places to suggest you see. They even have itineraries which they have made up on places to drive to and things to see.

The Inn at Harbor Hill is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, located in Niantic CT and very close to Mystic. The Inn offers beautiful waterfront accommodations on the Connecticut Shoreline. It is nestled on a hilltop in Niantic’s marina district overlooking its marina docks and the Niantic River. The waterfront B&B boasts genuine hospitality, along with superior service and comfort, all in a beautiful setting ~ on the water!This charming romantic Bed and Breakfast is the perfect choice for getaways and vacations near Mystic CT, New London, Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino.

While staying you can enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking or simply relax. You are in easy walking distance to the nice village area where you will fine antique sops, restaurants, movie theater. In the summer you are close to the beach and the Niantic Bay Boardwalk. You are only a short drive to Mystic, a popular New England vacation destination famous for its historic Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium. The Mystic area is popular and there is so much to see and do anytime of year – from wineries, historic museums, shopping and antiquing to golfing, hiking, sailing, boat and lighthouse cruises and fishing charters.

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina B&B in Niantic CT only 2 hours from Boston and New York City, 1 hour from Providence and Hartford. The B&B is easily accessible by car and boat, and is near the New London ferry service and train station as well as two airports, Bradley and TF Green.

On our most recent trip on the suggestion of the innkeeper we took his advise along with his itinerary and drove up to the “quiet corner” of CT (as he calls it) and went to the Christmas Barn and the antique market place along with a winery. It was such a great way to spend the day, ending it off with a wonderful dinner at Anthony’s in Mystic.

On the weekends the innkeeper makes some great hot breakfast, such as apple pancakes, pecan stuff french toast which are super.

So the next time you are looking for a place to relax and have all the comforters of home, try The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina – Niantic, CT.
