You can get delicious local Hvar food and drink from stores and stalls, such as the wine, lavender and sage liquor, olive oil, honey, marmalade, figs, and anchovies. However, make sure the food is truly local to Hvar and not imported. Try to go to markets and stands in the interior of town, further from tourist areas.
