JetBlue has added another airline to its list of international partners: Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic. In a release, JetBlue said the agreement, which is effective immediately, will link “two of aviation’s most iconic brands.”

The airlines will connect on the following routes:

  • Boston – London (Heathrow)
  • New York (JFK) – London (Heathrow)
  • Orlando – Glasgow
  • Orlando – London (Gatwick)
  • Orlando – Manchester
  • Washington, D.C. (Dulles) – London (Heathrow)

Customers will be able to purchase single itineraries combining travel on JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic, and will only have to check in and check bags once, whether their flight originates with JetBlue or Virgin Atlantic.

JetBlue’s list of international partners now comprises Aer Lingus, El Al, Emirates, Lufthansa, LAN, South African Airways, and Virgin Atlantic. The low-cost carrier also partners with American on international routes.

Readers, have you used any of JetBlue’s international partnerships?
