Garden City

Garden City is located only a short distance from the Fang-Fang hotel and provides an upscale shopping experience for visiting tourists and locals alike. You will also find a grocery store, book stores, souvenir shops, travel agencies, clothing and shoe shops, banks, and the popular Simba Casino.

It’s very easy to get there by shared taxi or motorcycle taxi, and there is lots of free parking if you are driving. When you get hungry, you can always visit the food court, which serves Lebanese, Italian, Indian, and many other types of cuisine.

Markets

There are many outdoor areas where you can find shops and stores of all types. The National Theatre is an outdoor area filled with shops grouped together in a semi-circle. There are approximately forty of them, and each shop is owned by locals selling their own unique goods.

Owino market is one of the biggest markets in Africa, and it offers many goods of all types. Even if you are only hoping to browse, it’s still worth a visit to the place. The market for second hand and used clothing is famous due to its size and the number of customers it attracts. Visitors should be aware that bargaining is a way of life in these markets, and the crowds can become a little thick as the day wears on.
