Want to take a ride on the Dreamliner? If you’re planning to fly with LAN later this year, you just might.
Emerging powerhouse LAN has become South America’s first airline (and the world’s fourth) to take delivery of Boeing’s innovative plane, the 787 Dreamliner. LAN plans to fly the plane from Lima to Los Angeles as one of the early routes, but it hasn’t yet released schedules or dates. Though according to USA Today, the airline plans to start service on the Dreamliner sometime before the end of this year.
LAN, unfortunately, joins United and Ethiopian as “bad guys,” with squeeze ’em tight nine-across economy seats.
Economy travelers who want “good guy” eight-abreast economy seats in 787s will have to stick with ANA or Japan Airlines.
