More luxury for Regent guests

Luxury just got a little more, well, luxurious on [% 9668 | | Regent Seven Seas’ %] three ships. All three have received refurbishments in their spring dry docks. According to Mark Conroy, Regent’s president, the company’s goal is to offer “the very best in comfort and elegance at sea.”

Upgrades include wireless Internet access and cell phone service throughout the fleet. Bed linens, cashmere throws, bathrobes, towels, and bathroom amenities from luxury brands now grace ship cabins. Onboard computer centers have gained espresso bars. The Seven Seas Navigator moved its fitness center to a new location and added one suite, while the Seven Seas Mariner received a coffee bar that features pastries at breakfast, international bites at lunch, and after-dinner drinks and chocolates in the evening.

Service was not overlooked in these makeovers. All employees have trained on a new service philosophy called the Tao of Regent. Guests in butler suites can choose their daily canapés from a special menu. New shows and a new nine-piece band enhance evenings onboard.
