The Local Clubs

Moscow has many choices for anyone looking for a nighttime hotspot. There are numerous bars, cafés, and clubs are all over town. These places are especially packed toward the weekend. Visitors are encouraged to try some of the local establishments outside of their hotels, but take basic precautions anywhere you go. The clubs in Russia are considered much more safe than they were a decade ago, although tourists are always advised to take care, especially when alcohol is involved.

Enjoying a Concert

While many people immediately think of bars and clubs when they think about nightlife, Moscow is a great place to also take in a concert. There are kiosks all over the city that sell tickets to local shows, which involve choirs and other performers.

The Sex Trade

Visitors to the city should be wary of the women who wander later in the evening, as there is an unregulated prostitution ring that circulates in Moscow. For much the same reason, English speaking individuals who cannot speak Russian may want to avoid becoming involved with unknown women.
