Take a Cable Car to the Top

This is less of an option and more of a necessity. If you’re going to the park, you simply have to take the Mount Faber cable care all the way to the top — it really is the reason for the trip! Besides being a form of transportation, taking the cable car is just a fun thing to do to pass the time. Just make sure you have your camera with you to capture the beautiful views on your way up.

Hail a Taxi in Town

One of the easiest ways to get to Mount Faber is by taxi. Hail a cab in the city and ask the driver to take you up the paths that lead to the top of the park. He or she will be happy to take you. It’s not the most scenic route, and it’s certainly not as adventurous as the cable car, but it gets the job done.

Ride on the Free Shuttle

You’ll be happy to learn that there’s a free shuttle service that services the area. The shuttle will pick you up from:

• Mount Faber Cable Car Station
• Seah Im Car Park
• Harbourfront Coach Bay
• Tiong Bahru Plaza Taxi Stand

The bus hits the stops every 30 minutes or so and is available from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday through Friday. To give you an idea, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get from Harbourfront to the Mount Faber Cable Car Station.
