Italian line MSC Cruises took delivery of the MSC Musica on June 19, and the new ship will make her official debut on June 29 in Venice. The ship will then set sail from Venice for her inaugural Mediterranean cruise, with calls in Greece, Turkey, and Croatia. Many Americans aren’t familiar with this cruise line, but if you like a European flair to your cruise, you might want to check out the new Musica.
The cruise line is very proud of the 236,000 square feet of public space on the ship, as it hopes to create the best guest-to-space ratio possible. The upper deck features three pools and four Jacuzzi tubs. And, 80 percent of cabins have windows, and the majority of those also have balconies.
The MSC Musica pays special attention to food and drink. The ship has four restaurants, including a Japanese sushi bar and an Italian restaurant. Kids can find their favorite meals at Pollicino, and adults can select their favorite beverages at the wine tasting bar or martini bar. MSC Cruises also claims to be the only cruise line that offers meals made daily by Italian chefs onboard. Yum.
