[% 12025 | | Norwegian %] and Bermuda have announced their agreement to deploy two NCL ships to the island nation for 10 consecutive years. Between 2009 and 2018, the Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Dawn will sail from Boston and New York, respectively. Norwegian will remain the only line to cruise from Boston to Bermuda.
East Coasters from other cities can also have their pick of homeport sailings. In 2009, the Norwegian Majesty—which has been sailing out of Boston—will sail Bermuda cruises from Charleston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
Can’t wait for 2009? Norwegian will offer plenty of Bermuda cruises in 2008, including the Norwegian Dawn sailing from New York, the Norwegian Dream from Boston, and the Norwegian Majesty from Charleston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
With three ships sailing to Bermuda, many Eastern Seaboard residents will be able to drive, rather than fly, to their departure ports. This option can save both vacation time and money with shorter and cheaper commutes than departing from Florida, Puerto Rico, or Texas. The question is, how many times can East Coasters sail to Bermuda before longing for a new itinerary?
