Ramoji Film City is the largest film studio complex in the world in terms of size at 2,000 acres. Only about 60-70 percent of it is actually developed, but expansion is in progress.

Eureka

The world’s largest, most comprehensive and professionally planned film production centers is built on 2000 acres of land that houses studios, gardens, hotels, multi-storied buildings and specialty structures of all kinds, including a reproduction of the famous Jaipur landmark, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Daily tours begin in Eureka, where you’ll find an interesting mix of both Oriental and Western cultures, and you can watch stunt shows and dance programs. This artificial city holds the Guinness World Record for World’s Largest Film Studio Complex.

Sets

From Eureka the bus drives up to the film sets where you’ll find many of sets. You could see a university, a hospital, police head quarters, an airport and even a replica of the Taj Mahal.

Gardens

Gardens dot the whole place, including the Japanese and Umbrella gardens. Stroll through the beautiful Moghul Gardens at Eureka.

When To Go

It’s best to go early in the morning, around 8:30 am to avoid the crowds later in the day. The shows begin at 11 a.m. The last tour of the day starts at 2 pm.

There are also 2 hotels within the property – Tara and Sitara. The Sitara has four royal suites, four theme suites and 92 deluxe rooms. The honeymoon package includes a complimentary candlelight dinner at the Galaxy, a multi-cuisine restaurant with an attached bar.
