Children Stealing From Tourists

Children have been known to beg for help or ask for assistance to “gather signatures” for upcoming school events. While getting signatures from innocent tourists, groups of children have been known to pickpocket or threaten those who are helping them until they are able to obtain the valuables and money from the victim before running off. Because they are children in large groups, it can be difficult to discern which ones are potentially dangerous or those who simply truly need assistance.
