Seoul What to Pack

Seoul is a beautiful and exciting city. Be sure you know what you should bring with you, and what you can leave at home.

Luggage

You may want to bring along extra luggage, because there’s lots of shopping that you can do in Seoul. Some areas have a lot of stairs, so you may want to bring a backpack to hold your items when you are out and about.

Clothing

You’ll need a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and a pair of boots if you want to go hiking. The rainy season is June and July, so keep that in mind when selecting shoes. If you wear larger sizes in shoes or clothes, you aren’t likely to find anything that fits you in Seoul, so you’ll need to bring plenty of clothing. If you wear a smaller size, you may want to buy some clothes in Seoul.

Medication and Toiletries

Bring any medications that you may need like Tylenol and cold medicine with you. They have these in Seoul, but you may have a difficult time translating the medications and dosage instructions. Deodorant and women’s hygiene products are very hard to find, so be sure to bring those. Hand sanitizer is something else that you won’t find in Seoul, and you are sure to be glad you’ve brought it. Dry eyes are common, so be sure to bring some eye drops as well.
