Killbear Point Provincial Park Things to Do
Located along the Georgian Bay in Ontario, Killbear Provincial Park is a famed tourist location. Its many sandy beaches draw thousands of tourists, and there are many things to do while visiting the area.
Around the Waters
The waters of the park are an appealing place to be and one of its main draws. People occasionally take sailboats out from the harbor to explore the coasts. If you’re not a fan of sailing though, the shorelines remain beautiful places to explore. One particularly beloved spot is the beach at the Harold Point campground, which is a picturesque spot that appeals to park goers and those who are camping
Lookout Point and Hill
Lookout Point Trail is an easy hike that winds through the surrounding forests and wetlands. It takes about an hour and a half to reach the Point, and the trail itself is a 3.5-kilometer loop that will lead you back around to the trailhead. There are only moderate slopes, and the hike is worth the effort. Lookout Point has a great view of the Bay, since the Point is located on the top of a hill. Lookout Point is well known as a great spot to stop and have lunch, and the trail makes for a great way to spend the day.
