While you’re sight-seeing, you may encounter children who attempt to sell various items such as bracelets, drinks, and scarves. They may be cute and your first reaction may be to feel sorry for them. You may want to think twice as they can also be persistent and even aggressive.

If you’re out shopping, you may want to move as fast as possible. If you appear to be moving at a slow pace without purchasing something, the vendors will tend to ask why you did not choose to shop with them. The kid vendors can be very polite when they are trying to obtain a sale by using compliments, but if you do not purchase, they will hurl insults at you.
