Hotels.com is celebrating Labor Day by offering up to 40 percent off hotels in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America. You must book by September 6, and travel between September 1 and 8. Prices vary by property, but some start as low as $21 per night (without taxes and fees).

If you can’t find what you’re looking for on Hotels.com, Expedia is offering up to 30 percent off hotels around the country, as well as places in Canada, South America, and Hawaii, for travel between September 3 and 6. Hotels start as low as $24 per night (without taxes and fees). The offer is subject to availability.

Orbitz is rewarding the procrastinator in all of us with its Labor Day Last-Minute Hotel Deals to major cities around the country, including Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, and Atlantic City. Hotels start at $46 per night, and three- and four-day packages are available. Prices vary by property and travel date.

For those who would prefer to just click and go, American Airlines is offering Labor Day Weekend Specials on three-night vacation packages to beach and big-city destinations, including Maui, Orlando, San Diego, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Punta Cana. The deals start at $365 per person (without taxes and fees), and include three nights’ accommodations and round-trip airfare from Chicago (other departure cities are available at a higher cost). The offer is subject to availability.

If you have a destination in mind, you may want to check with the local tourism website for deals. For instance, the Myrtle Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau is featuring a slew of Labor Day promotions available throughout the area, as well as information on events celebrating the holiday. Many of the packages listed include activities and/or extra perks, such as breakfast, water park admission, fishing rod and bait, boogie boards, bike rentals, and more.
