Torrevieja Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Torrevieja Nightlife

Torrevieja is a city in the Spanish province of Alicante most known for its promenades along its sandy beaches. This city also has an active nightlife offering entertainment venues that cater to people of all ages. It is safe for the most part as long as you watch carefully while sightseeing and socializing.

Nightlife Tips

You generally do not have to worry in areas where plenty of people gather. For instance, most restaurants and bars are carefully monitored, and many sites allow children. However, make sure you keep your belongings and particularly your wallet as concealed as possible. Furthermore, do not feel obligated to buy from street sellers who might solicit you in the Open Market area.

Clubs, Bars, and Restaurants

The areas where you would gather depends on the people who are with you. Here are some favorite bars, restaurants, and tourists spots:

  • Picasso’s – This is an example of a family-friendly place that serves food and drinks. Pool games and other activities here are offered to both adults and children. This place is known for its friendly staff. People working there often are happy to pose for photos.
  • Playa De Curra – Located conveniently near the beach, this Swedish bar offers a selection of menu items and beverages. They are known for selling beer for as cheap as 50 cents per glass. This place sometimes even make accommodations for customers who want items not on the menu.
  • The Celtic Drop – This is considered to be the area’s best live music venue. They offer Motown entertainment every Tuesday and additional entertainment other nights.
  • Rojales – In this section of town, you would find a strip of bars and restaurants where locals typically visit. This area is most indicative of the laid-paid Spanish environment, but it might be best not to bring children here.

Keep in Mind Dress Codes

It doesn’t matter what you  wear to most of these places. However, double check to find out if it’s supposed to be casual or formal attire before you arrive.
