For more than 50 years, the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) and its predecessor have helped children track Santa Claus’ Christmas Eve flight around the world. This year, NORAD will be using four high-tech systems to keep an eye on St. Nick and his nine tiny reindeer: radar, satellites, fighter jets, and special “Santa Cams.”
If you want to follow Santa’s progress through the sky this year, head on over to the official NORAD Santa Tracker. If you prefer the more low-tech approach, keep your eyes peeled to the sky and look for a shiny red nose.
