There's lots of nightlife in Ulsan. You can have a great time if you know where to go for a good time.
This is one of the bars where foreign teachers go. You'll find good food and large screen TVs. They have a dart board, and open MIC night every Wednesday night. They are open till dawn every night.
Tombstone is similar to Benchwarmers and foreign teachers and other workers also go here. They have a pool table and stay open very late as well. These bars are a bit run down, and don't seem to be popular with anyone but teachers and other foreign workers.
The Acid Bar is the place where the livelier foreign crowd can be found in Ulsan. It's located across from Bobo's. It's a big basement club with a bar and dance floor. They have large comfortable chairs and a Nori Bang room, which is much like English karaoke. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff takes song requests. The dress code and atmosphere are very laid back.
You'll find plenty of foreigners at these bars, however, you may end up paying '"tourist" prices for your drinks. You can find 7 Club, Hollywood, and Las Vegas in the downtown area. You can find WaBar in different locations including Bangeojin and downtown. Here you can have beers from all over the world and western food as well.
Asia is a large nightclub with a big dance floor.
Larger nightclubs will generally welcome anyone, but some smaller Korean clubs are for locals only.
